Nadim Karam and Amar Abou Zahr from the BPN MENA offices brought Radical CommonSense to the 2014 Dubai Lynx Young Lynx Competition.
The competition, sponsored by Yahoo, asked teams to create an innovative media plan to raise awareness about Dubai Center for Special Needs (DCSN) in just 24 hours. The goal was to attract potential sponsors to support the charity and drive traffic to the DCSN Facebook page and website.
The DCSN, a non-profit organization that supports over 100 students and relies heavily on charity, particularly from sponsors and corporations to fund training and therapy as well as the improvement of the school’s facilities.
Khalid Abu Saada, Client Development Director at Yahoo Maktoob, who was part of the competition’s judging committee said, “I was very impressed by all of the entries this year, and saw a lot of creativity and potential from these young storytellers. But BPN team’s presentation really stood out. They gave an excellent plan with a well thought-out process from planning to execution, and showed incredible attention to detail.”
