BPN won a Bronze Media Lion for our work with the Peruvian Cancer Foundation.
A year after taking the world by storm with the now famous “Potable Water Billboard” campaign, MediaConnection BPN Peru does it again at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, winning a Bronze Lion for the Ponle Corazón (Searching for Hearts) campaign for the Peruvian Cancer Foundation.
The campaign was bestowed with the prestigious Media Lion award in the category of Charities, Public Health and Public Awareness, and was also awarded a Bronze Lion in the Direct category.
Ponle Corazón was created by the local agency MediaConnection BPN and MayoFCB in Peru benefitting the Peruvian Cancer Foundation, an organization that over the past 50 years has been committed to helping impoverished children who suffer from this devastating medical condition.
To show that a helping hand might come from the most unthinkable places, the Peruvian agency took the campaign to one of the largest jails in the country and encouraged prisoners to take on an active role in fundraising. The act of kindness was included in the campaign TV spot and resulted in an unprecedented movement that brought hope not only to the children suffering from cancer, but also to the inmates who felt like they finally had a purpose in life again.

Another campaign from MediaConnection BPN Peru, the “Air Purifying Billboard” was also a winner of a Bronze Lion in the direct category. This is the latest product of innovation from the work of MediaConnection BPN, MayoFCB and the University of Technology and Engineering (UTEC).
