Our Global CEO answered questions about how to have a successful career and shared his journey. People from all of Interpublic gathered to learn and network with Mauricio.
Mauricio Sabogal has dedicated more than 25 years of his career to media and marketing research, and was named “the most powerful Latino in the media agency business” by Advertising Age magazine. In his new role as Global CEO of BPN, Mauricio is leading global operations for the newly-launched IPG Mediabrands’ worldwide media agency network, becoming the first Latin American to reach the position of Global CEO of a media agency.

SOMOS: Hispanic/Latino Heritage Group is part of Multicultural Employee Resource Groups for Excellence (MERGE), IPG’s umbrella group for all of the company’s business resource groups. These groups work to foster an inclusive work environment as well as to increase networking and business opportunities.
MERGE is comprised of five action committees and five business resource groups. The committees are Careers, Clients, Communication, Culture and Community. The groups are the Asian Heritage Group (AHG), Black Employee Network (BEN), IPGLBT, SOMOS: Hispanic/Latino Heritage Group and the Women’s Leadership Network (WLN). MERGE works to ensure that employees who identify with a particular spectrum of diversity are represented by our business resource groups.
